Harris Academy Ockendon Stabbing: Three students from Harris Academy in Ockendon were injured in an attack at Bonnygate Wood Park on the afternoon of Thursday, March 20. Two of the students sustained knife wounds.

The assault was carried out by a group of youths unaffiliated with the school, some of whom reportedly wore balaclavas before fleeing the scene. Following the incident, the injured students returned to the school before being taken to the hospital for treatment.

The attack prompted a significant police response, with officers and emergency vehicles rushing to the area. Essex Police issued a statement confirming that officers are actively investigating the attack and maintaining a visible presence in South Ockendon. The disturbance, which occurred around 4:20 p.m. near Bonnygate Park off Daiglen Drive, left three individuals injured. Two suffered stab wounds, but none of the injuries were life-threatening.
