The first incident occurred at approximately 3:20 a.m. on Bayswater Road, where emergency services discovered a man in his 40s with a serious chest wound. Paramedics provided immediate treatment before transporting him to Townsville University Hospital in stable condition. A crime scene was established at the location.

Less than two hours later, at 5:08 a.m., paramedics responded to a call on Christian Court, just a few streets away from the first scene. There, they found a man in his 30s suffering from a leg laceration. He was also taken to Townsville University Hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.

Townsville police have indicated that the two stabbings may be linked and have launched an investigation. As of now, no arrests have been made, and authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.

The close timing and proximity of these incidents have raised concerns among Mount Louisa residents, prompting increased vigilance in the community.
