Rapper Yella Beezy, born Markies Deandre Conway, has reportedly been arrested in Dallas, Texas, on charges of capital murder for hire. Photos of his chargesheet surfaced on social media, revealing that he is facing “capital murder with remuneration” charges.
Speculation among fans linked his arrest to the 2020 murder of fellow rapper MO3, but authorities have not yet confirmed the specific case for which he has been charged.
According to the indictment, Conway allegedly hired Kewon White to carry out the fatal shooting in exchange for payment. The grand jury referral states that the murder occurred on November 11, 2020, when rapper Melvin Noble, known as MO3, was shot and killed on a Dallas highway. Prosecutors claim that Conway provided financial compensation to White to carry out the crime. White had already been arrested in connection with Noble’s murder, and this latest indictment suggests that prosecutors believe Conway played a direct role in planning the attack.
Under Texas law, capital murder with remuneration is a first-degree felony that carries severe consequences, including life in prison without parole or the death penalty if convicted. The charges were officially filed on March 18, 2025, in Dallas County.
